I became an attorney because I believe the law should be understandable and accessible for everyone. The greatest part of my practice is sharing my knowledge with clients so they can make the best decisions for them and their families. My practice is based on both zealously advocating for my client and providing candid, practical advice to solve legal problems.
Advisor as well as Advocate
People contact a lawyer because they need assistance with a serious problem. Being a lawyer is more than standing up for a client’s legal position, but standing beside a client through a difficult time. My law practice is based on a collaborative approach to solving serious problems. I have extensive education and experience in conflict resolution, and work diligently to find workable solutions to legal problems with my clients. I look in the law and see how it supports what my client’s need, then provide candid advice to help my client through a difficult time. Together, we find resolution to problems.
Wills and Other Life Documents
Having the will to make you will is a true challenge. People know they need life documents (Will, Powers of Attorney, and Living Will), but the process to create them is daunting for so many people.
I have worked in health care my entire adult life. I am also a cancer survivor. I bring a compassionate and understanding ear to developing a personalized set of life documents. My goal is not to produce a document from a template saved on a desktop, but understand what each client is looking for in their Wills, Power of Attorneys, and other agreements. I take time to talk with each client to ensure that your specific wishes are accurately represented at each step of the life documentation process.

Can I afford it ?
I worked full-time while attending law school. I know what it is to have bills and live by a budget. I want legal assistance to be accessible to people. I prefer to charge flat fees for my work because it keeps focus on the work rather than the amount of time.
